Denplan Care removes worries about costly and unexpected dental bills by providing you with all the routine care and treatment you need to keep your teeth and gums healthy – including examinations, routine treatments and X-rays. You can also look forward to better long-term oral health because it allows your dentist to spend time on preventive dental care.

Denplan Care offers you:
TickRoutine and preventive dental care from your dentist
Tickexaminations
TickX-rays
Ticknecessary fillings
Tickhygiene treatment (including scale and polishes)
Tickpreventive dental advice and therapy
Ticknecessary extractions
TickMajor restorative care from your dentist
Tickperiodontal (gum) treatment
Tickcrowns, bridges, dentures, inlays (excluding laboratory fees)
Tickroot fillings

Denplan Care does not cover the following:
Crosslaboratory fees/prescriptions
Crossany treatment specified as excluded by the dentist in your contract
Crossreferral to a specialist and specialist treatment
Crosstreatment carried out anuwhere other than at your registered dentist except when you need temporary emergency treatment
Crossorthodontics, implants, cosmetic treatment
Crosssedation fees

As part of Denplan Care, you receive Supplementary Insurance, which includes:
Tickdental injury cover (up to £10,000 per incident)
Ticktemporary emergency dental treatment in the UK (up to £400 per incident. Total limit payable £800 per calendar year)
Ticktemporary emergency dental treatment when overseas (up to £400 per incident. Total limit payable £800 per calendar year)
Tick£60 for every night spent in hospital under the care of a dental or oral/maxillo-facial surgeon for treatment to head and neck
Tickup to £12,000 cancer treatment costs for up to 18 months following a positive diagnosis. Smokers are not excluded from this cover

Your supplementary insurance does not cover:
Crosspermanent treatment in a dental emergency
Crossemergency treatment provided by your own dentist or a dentist/specialist acting on your dentist's behalf
Crossdental injuries caused while training for or participating in contact sports unless recommended mouth protection is worn
Crossmouth cancer diagnosed before joining Denplan or within 90 days after you joined Denplan (or for which tests or consultations began within those 90 days)

For the dental care you receive under the plan agreement, you are in contract with your dentist. For the supplementary insurance element you are in contract with AXA PPP healthcare limited and with Denplan for insurance services.
